Chapter History
The Omega Kappa Zeta Graduate Chapter was chartered in Brentwood, California on April 12, 2012. The charter members were Tonya McKenzie, M Gammage, Ebony Stagg, Abidemi Glasgow, La’Sha Hill , Tina Mayfield, and Kenya Rawles.
During the first year, Omega Kappa Zeta focused on growing the chapter and gained 5 new chapter members (new and reclaimed). They also focused on working on Zeta's national initiative, Elder Care by working with dementia patients and donating supplies to a senior center. The chapter has a partnership with the Mocha Autism Network to promote awareness and dispel myths about autism.
The chapter celebrated their 10 year chartering anniversary on in 2022 with a proclamation from the city of Stockton.
Covering and areas East Contra Costa and San Joaquin Counties, Omega Kappa Zeta Chapter fosters the founding principles of our beloved sorority: Scholarship, Service, Finer Womanhood, and Sisterhood.
