Chapter History
The Omega Kappa Zeta Graduate Chapter was chartered in Brentwood, California on April 12, 2012 and covers the areas of Eas Contra Costa County and San Joaquin Counties in Northern California.
During the first few years, Omega Kappa Zeta focused on working on Zeta's national initiative, Elder Care by working with dementia patients and donating supplies to a senior center. The chapter also partnered with the Mocha Autism Network to promote awareness and dispel myths about autism.
In later years, the chapter developed many programs for their communites and in 2022 , the chapter recieved a proclamation from the city of Stockton for their service to the city.
Omega Kappa Zeta is a chapter of leaders. Since it's chartering there have been 3 elected state officers, 3 Regional Coordinators, and countless state, regional, and national committee members.
Omega Kappa Zeta Chapter fosters the founding principles of our beloved sorority: Scholarship, Service, Finer Womanhood, and Sisterhood.
