Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood through the vision of our courageous Founders to affect positive change in the community and encourage the highest standards in the achievement of academic excellence. With the principle of scholarship in mind, the Finer Womanhood Scholarship has been initiated to provide recipients with the opportunity to maximize their college experience through service-learning, volunteerism and internships.

Scholarship Awards
The awards are targeted to honor Class of 2022 high school female graduates, who exhibits personal integrity and excellence through academic achievement and community involvement, and demonstrates a moderate to significant need for financial assistance in attaining her educational goals.
Scholarship Requirements
• Must have been a female graduate from a high school in San Joaquin or East Contra Costa
counties, of California, in May/June 2024.
• Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university for Fall 2024.
• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and demonstrate financial need for the 4 year University. Minimum 2.5 GPA for the Junior College.
• Submitting application and all supporting documents by deadline.
• Community service and involvement is a plus.
Application and all supporting documents must be received by April 30, 2024.

$500 Scholar transferring from Junior College to University Scholarship

$250 Junior College Scholarship
- The award will be made to two deserving female high school seniors to cover educational cost up to and not to exceed $250 total. The recipient may complete her undergraduate studies in the field of her choice at an accredited junior college of her choice.
