Hats off to Survivors: Walking in Stride
Join us for our annual Salute to Survivors celebration . During this year's event we will join domestic violence and breast cancer survivors for a morning walk, fellowship, and community resources.
Guest Speakers will address how they have overcome and community agencies will inform guests of supportive services offered to the community. Saturday, October 26, 2024 9:00 AM 9:00AM-10:00AM - Walk around Contra Loma trail 10:15AM-11:00AM - Light refreshments 11:00AM-1:00PM - Presentation from invited community based organizations We will be starting off at 9AM with a walk around the trail at Contra Loma Regional Park at 1200 Frederickson Lane, Antioch, CA 94509. Parking is $5.00, we will meet up in the parking lot near the Marina/Boat launch. Followed by light refreshments and then some testimonials from survivors, presentations from House of Loving Hands and other agencies that provide resources and holistic care services and more. The mission of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. DV programming is to increase awareness amongst members of the community by providing tailored Trainings and necessary resources to address DV. This project also aims to build healthy relationships and Increase domestic violence awareness via cutting edge programs, influencing policy, and promoting partnerships dedicated to the protection of women and children.
